200 Jets May Be Ordered Delta to Upgrade the Fleet

According to the delta airlines it may put an extra order of two hundred jet planes in order to upgrade the fleet. Since the airlines is going to replace the older aircraft with the new one ordered for the coming season. This news has been announced by the officials of the airlines. Delta said in a message to its internal employee system that it has sent messages to the major airlines that they want to purchase the new planes in order to replace them with the older ones. The company has said to deliever a sum of 100 or 200 planes in the coming season which could be started in the early days of two thousand and thirteen.

The orders may include the large, medium and single aisles planes to be used on the new routes for the destinations like United Kingdom. The official of the company said that there are no decisions taken regarding the future prospectus of the purchase of new planes, delta said that the new planes which are being purchased can replace the planes like Boeing 757-200, Airbus A320, and DC9-50.

Delta vice president Nat Pieper said that our planning in the next future is to make such strategies which may provide flexible, cost-efficient fleet. This step will provide a great help to build the economy of the airlines and management will run as swiftly as others are operating.
