In the next six years Russia’s flagship airline Aeroflot is going to buy 16 new Boeing 777s as it has got the responsibility to plot the gap which has been created by the 787 dream liner from the past some time. This information has been announced by the carrier On Thursday they said they have signed a pre agreement to take the Boeing planes over the 2012-2017 periods.
Aeroflot did not give any details about the financial status of the company. They have ordered 22 787s that are now nearly three years behind the regular delivery schedule due to labor and production problem.Deliveries are expected to be completed in the last of this ending year.
Aeroflot said it has set up a working collaboration with the Boeing such that at least the delivery of two Boeing aircraft can be done at the end of Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014.
Aeroflot is also waiting for the delivery which is being in the queue and to be delivered in the coming time. If the other is on time they can manage the transaction.
