Holiday season brought a great season for the domestic flights of the Kenya airlines and there is a rise in the passenger traffic. These passengers are expected to be returning from the holiday season and for the sake there are increased flights and routes for the passengers who are taking regular services of the airlines. This has been announced by the Kenya airlines in a open press release on Monday.
Air France-KLM which has owned the carrier up to twenty six percent in the month of October has got solid expectations to carry three million passengers in the coming season up till March 2011 as compared from the statistics of March 2007 which is said to be two point seven million.
Cargo loading and un loading also provides a lot of revenue to the airlines in the current season. There are certain new programs which have gone in the pending list such as linking the South Africa to the Nairobi hub since domestic passengers are of immense value for the Kenya airlines.
