A regional air traffic control system failure has disrupted the path of more than 1000 planes whether their routes are being changed or they have been cancelled, the region is around northern Europe on Friday this incident happened. Online study has showed that the total delay is off 36 minutes and in total 1036 flights are being delayed in the slots of the accident.
The flights landing and taking off from, or transiting from Holland, northern Germany and parts of Belgium and Luxembourg. Spokes man of German air traffic control said that the basic problem is with the radar facility which has been keeping the flights above than 75,000 ft in the sky for several hours.
About 250 flights were controlled by the computer system; air traffic has been down for 25 percent , Germany Frankfort airport one of Europe’s busiest airport the northbound flights from here have taken off 40 minutes delay in taking off from the airport.
They said that they have two computers to schedule and plan the take off of the flights, if one fails the second works but we have to take safety measures with regard to the working of the flights.
