BMI the British airways has said that it is to suspend its flights between Glasgow airports and London Heathrow airport. This is a clear signal that in the coming days the route is going to be closed for the coming season as said by the BMI airways. The basic reason to take the decision of closing up the route between the airports will take the industry of travel and tourism to a different direction. This closing is affected from the next twenty seventh of March.
The airline was blaming the British airways for increasing the BAA passenger charges which has made the route to be sustainable for the passengers of low financial status. Therefore there can be risk of redundancy and the flights have been cancelled which are coming and going seven times a week.
Due to the suspension of routes there are a numerous number of employees who have lost their jobs and it is important point with regard to the employment which has been a great issue for the development of the country future. The company has therefore commencing a consulting meeting in which all the points regarding the cancellation of route will be discussed in the meeting.
This has been assumed that the common passengers are going to suffer a lot as the route is being closed for the season. This condition is also going to affect the economical status of the country.
