Boeing said on Thursday that it has delivered hundred and twenty four planes in the third quarter of the year in comparison of the total supply which was hundred and thirteen at last year. This growth in production is a good symbol for the coming years. Boeing said that hundred deliveries out of the total are of 737 generation compared with 90 a year earlier this is a boom for Boeing production unit.
Boeing announced last month that it is going to boost the production of its narrow-body 737 plane to 38 per month in 2013. This production will meet the long term demands of the customers of the European and other users of this Boeing planes. Boeing’s commercial plane division is getting well from 2009 when in total it got hundred and forty two orders.
On Thursday Boeing announced that it has taken hundred and four new orders for the commercial planes at the end of this week on October 5. According to Boeing management authorities Xiamen Airlines ordered 10 737s, Air Lease ordered 54 737s, and an unknown customer ordered 40 737s, they said.
The unidentified buyers disclosed by the management said Luxair ordered one 737, FedEx had ordered two wide-body 777s. In 2010 Boeing has three hundred and ninty two orders in total.
