The combination of continental and united airlines will officially take place in the last of this week. It can be said that their marriage will be held in the last of this week. The main Problem which this combination is facing is the scheduling or the arrangement of the duties of the employees of both airlines. But the real task will only be accomplished when the eighty seven thousand employees will come under one workforce.
The work is well under the way as they form a new united airlines which is assumed to be the world’s largest air carrier. But the biggest work has been done by combining the two airlines and the next step is to any how to save the cost by 2013. In order to get the benefits of both the airlines and to enjoy cost benefits you really have to go to single entity said by airline consultant Robert Mann.
Mann announced an anonymous hurdle which is seen is staff integration. The new company and its unions must talk to each other on the issues like transition agreements, and seniority integration and single contracts. The efforts made in this direction will be of intensive in nature.
Both the airlines authorities have understood that if these important issues will be resolved no one can stop this merger to be top airlines of this world.
