Over Disabilities Rules Delta Airlines has Been Charged

Friday, February 18th, 2011

The United States Department of Transportation has fined delta airlines with a huge amount of money in terms to violate the disabilities rule and this type of activities cannot be accepted by the government. The agency said that this is not a good sign of the democracy in the coming future as said by the news agency in the morning of Thursday in front of common people. This is the largest amount of fine which has been imposed on any airlines and the topic is something other than the security measures of the airport and its concerned area.

The fine imposed is the heaviest on any airlines with an issue which is not related to security and safety. In 2007 and 2008 the dot said that it had found and received many of the violations while providing the assistance for passengers to go on and off the aircraft and airplanes. The government also found that the Delta airlines was not responding very quickly on the complaints which are done by the passengers and therefore it has agreed to settle all the disputes without any quarrel.

Most of the fine will be used in creating the facilities for the passengers who are physically disabled and specially those who are on the wheel chair in the airport premises.
